Due to mother nature at her finest, Game 5 of the World Series has been delayed in the 6th inning leaving Philadelphia Phillies and Tampa Bay Rays tied 2-2. The game has been rescheduled for Tuesday October 28, 2008 at 8 PM ET.
IMO - If the Rays were to win the world series, they would make HISTORY because when was the last time you heard them winning a championship? We always read about the New York Yankees, Atlanta Braves, St. Louis Cardinals, San Francisco Giants etc. winning the World Series. The answer would be NEVER! On the other hand, we have local boy Victorino doing his thing so it's a hard decision to choose what team to root for. In the end and like I said before, "GO PHILLIES!" lol. :]
